]]> By: thodaaur http://saptrang.wordpress.com/2006/09/18/the_afghan/#comment-351 thodaaur Sat, 25 Nov 2006 03:56:26 +0000 http://saptrang.wordpress.com/2006/09/18/the_afghan/#comment-351 फ़्रेडरिक फ़ोर्सिथ मेरे भी पसंदीदा लेखकों में से हैं। अब उनके उपन्यासों में वो बात नहिं रही। शायद उम्र के साथ उपन्यास के लिये रिसर्च करना कम कर दिया है। "Fist of god", "Avenger" आदि उपन्यास भी आधे मन से लिखे लगते हैं। पुराने उपन्यास जैसे डे औफ़ जैकाल या डेविल्स अल्टरनेटिव कमाल के हैं। जैकाल पे तो दो फ़िल्में भी बन चुकि हैं। पर उनमें वो बात नहीं। जैकाल के दिमाग में क्या चल रहा है, आप फ़िल्म में नहिं बता सकते। और बस यहिं वो मारी जाती हैं। ब्रूस विलिस वालि फ़िल्म तो मज़ाक है किताब का। डेविल्स.. कि ये पंक्तियां याद आति हैं जो कि मुख्य किरदार आन्द्रेइ के लिये लिखि गयि थी। याद से लिख रहा हूं, सो शायद पूरी सहि ना हों। "All men dream in night.
